Cheryl Cole is considering moving to the US.
The Girls Aloud star, who recently split from her soccer player husband Ashley Cole amid allegations of cheating, is planning a move to Los Angeles on the advice on her high-profile pals.
American choreographer Brian Friedman - who has worked with Britney Spears and Pink - is among those urging the 'Parachute' singer to consider uprooting from the UK.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Brian is trying to persuade her to give it a shot in Los Angeles.
"He told her he's happy to be her chaperone until she settles. High-level people already love her there."
Cheryl worked with Brian on Simon Cowell's UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' and turned to him for advice when she first launched her solo career.
The source added: "It wasn't Ashley she turned to, it was him. She takes his advice very seriously."
Meanwhile, Cheryl and Ashley have sorted out an agreement regarding custody of their two Chihuahuas Buster and Coco.
A source close to the pair said: "The dogs mean the world to both Cheryl and Ashley. Cheryl, in particular, is attached to them and would do anything for Buster and Coco.
"They want to sort this out as amicably as possible. To keep the peace, Cheryl is allowing Ashley to spend a few days with them."
However the 26-year-old pop beauty - who has previously admitted to only trusting her dogs and her mother Joan - is not yet ready to meet Ashley, 29, face-to-face.
The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She's not willing to drop them off in person - it's simply too soon. Instead, Ashley has arranged for a car to pick them up and take them to his makeshift apartment in London.
"In effect, they've negotiated an ad hoc custody agreement. Cheryl won't stop Ashley seeing the Chihuahuas, but long-term she wants them with her."

Ryan Seacrest believes Simon Cowell will be a "very generous" husband.
The 'American Idol' presenter - who works alongside Simon on the TV talent show - has predicted Simon will treat fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy, 36, well when they are wed.
However, Ryan thinks the make-up artist will have to limit the amount of mirrors in their house to ensure marital bliss.
Speaking to Us Weekly about what type of husband Simon would be, he quipped: "Self-centered! But he is very generous. I hope that if they are building a life together, there aren't too many mirrors around to distract him from his girlfriend!"
Simon, 50, first met Mezhgan seven years ago when she worked on 'American Idol', but Ryan never noticed any spark between the pair.
He added: "The only thing he's probably made out with is the mirror that I've seen at 'American Idol'."
Last week, Mezhgan showed off a dazzling engagement ring, ending weeks of speculation the pair are to wed.

Naomi Campbell allegedly punched her chauffer in the back of the head yesterday (02.03.10).
The 39-year-old supermodel is said to have become enraged with her driver - who had been hired for the day - as he drove her through Manhattan, New York, and fled the vehicle on foot when he stopped to report her to authorities.
According to reports, the 27-year-old driver - who suffered bruising to his face after hitting his head on the steering wheel - pulled over his black Cadillac Escalade and got out to speak to a traffic officer to tell him about the incident. When they returned to the vehicle, Naomi had left the scene.
A police source said: "The driver had a small bruise and swelling under his right eye... caused by her. She hit him in the back of the head and as a result his head hit the wheel. We want to talk to her."
Despite fleeing the scene, a spokesperson for the supermodel insists she will cooperate fully with police.
Her representative Jeff Raymond said: "There shouldn't be a rush to judgement. Naomi will cooperate voluntarily, and there is more to the story than meets the eye."
It has been claimed Naomi got angry because she suspected the driver, who used to work for her former boyfriend Vladimir Doronin, had helped cover up his indiscretions.
New York police issued a 'harassment report' over the incident because no officer witnessed what took place. It does not carry any penalty.
Authorities later confirmed the driver had decided not to pursue the matter, meaning Naomi is unlikely to face any charges.

Kelly Osbourne thinks cosmetic surgery can makes people look like "vaginas".
The presenter won't ever rule out undergoing appearance-altering procedures but believes it needs to be carefully monitored because patients can end up looking like female genitals if they take it too far.
Discussing whether or not she would considering cosmetic surgery, Kelly - whose mother Sharon Osbourne has admitted to spending over £300,000 on procedures - said: "When I get older, yeah definitely. I think it can be a great thing, it's just that people take advantage of it and it gets scary. My mum and I call them Vegas faces or Sellotape faces. They think they look sexy when they've got lips like vaginas. They're just cardboard cut-outs of each other."
However, the 25-year-old star thinks her 57-year-old mother's own extensive cosmetic surgery has helped her become "the woman she always wanted to be".
She explained to more! magazine: "What plastic surgery has done for her is incredible. She was successful, except she didn't feel comfortable with her looks. Then suddenly she had confidence and everywhere she went people called her beautiful and told her she looked great and she became the woman she always wanted to be. I think my mum is beautiful."

Leona Lewis designed her own tattoo.
The 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' singer recently got an etching on her back in tribute to her love of horses and she wrote the words for it herself.
Leona - who has another tattoo on the inside of her left wrist which is an Arabic message about love - said: "I got another one that goes halfway down my back recently.
"It's a poem - about horses. The last bit is a quote but I made up the rest. Their beauty captures every eye/ A gift from God for all mankind/ They lend us wings so we may fly/ To ride a horse is to ride the sky."
Although the 24-year-old pop star is delighted with new inking, her boyfriend Lou Al Chamaa was less impressed by the lengthy tattoo.
Asked how Lou reacted when he saw it, she replied: "He was a bit annoyed at first. He was like, 'It's permanent!' But he likes the message, everyone does."
Leona thinks many people are surprised by her tattoos because they wrongly believe she is a shy person.
The 'I Got You' singer - who won the 2006 series of Simon Cowell's UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' - added to Grazia magazine: "I'm actually not shy, I'm very outgoing, very talkative. I'm not a walkover.
"You've got to be tough in this business to get on. I am a very ambitious person, always been hard working and driven. You have to have that in you to go through a process like 'The X Factor'."
