Robert Pattinson partied with friends at a London bar last night (03.03.10).
The 'Twilight' hunk went along to trendy nightspot The Garage in Highbury and Islington with a big group of pals to support his friend Bobby Long - who was performing an acoustic set at the venue - but upset many female fans by refusing to pose for photographs with them.
One female reveller said: "He was shielded by his friends, but Rob leaned against the bar pint in hand. He was looking his usual yummily dishevelled self - black leather jacket, skinny jeans and smouldering good looks - and most of the women in the room suddenly felt the need for another drink. A few were even brave enough to ask for photos, which he seemed to be mostly refusing."
When the 23-year-old actor - who is dating his 'Twilight' co-star Kristen Stewart - began to get frustrated with all the unwanted attention, he and his friends tried to hide in the bar's outside area.
The source added to Radar Online: "He dodged into the smoking area and was quickly surrounded by a wall of friends but just hung out with them, no one really bothered him and he just chatted away with people."
However, Robert quickly started to grow bored of the cold and returned to the bar for another pint of beer - though he continued to maintain a low-profile.
The fan said: "Considering that the music was so upbeat, he was there with friends and had a couple of beers, I was surprised Rob wasn't enjoying the music like everyone else. Instead, with no one bothering him, he just went back to his corner of the bar and hunched over another pint with his head down."

Cheryl Cole is to fly to France to meet her estranged husband Ashley Cole.
The 'Fight for This Love' singer has given in to her soccer star spouse's pleas and agreed to jet over to France - where the 29-year-old sportsman is receiving treatment for a broken ankle - to discuss his alleged affairs and the future of their marriage.
A source said: "Cheryl wants to be tough with Ashley and believes that will be easier on neutral territory."
The 26-year-old pop star dumped Ashley two weeks ago, after it was claimed he had slept with several other women and sent them X-rated text messages and explicit photographs of himself. Cheryl has now agreed to meet with him for just 15 minutes to hear his explanation.
The source added: "She'll listen - but not for very long."
Since Cheryl left him, Ashley has bombarded her with texts and phone calls in a bid to win her back.
He is now even using lines from her songs in an attempt to win her over.
Apparently, one text said: "We've got to fight for this love."
Despite his emotional pleas, Cheryl is determined to stay strong.
Another source said: "She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He doesn't stand a chance."
Cheryl is now focusing on her career to help her through this difficult time.
A friend of the singer's said: "She is busier than ever and that's how she wants it. It's hard but she's nothing if not a fighter. She has worked hard to get where she is and will not let anything affect her focus."

Lewis Hamilton is renting two houses in Los Angeles so he can be near Nicole Scherzinger.
The British Formula One driver - who recently reunited with the Pussycat Dolls singer - is renting properties in Melrose Avenue and Park La Brea so they can be together as often as possible, despite their hectic careers.
A source said: "Lewis is determined to give their relationship another go. It unravelled before because they were never together in the same place, which made seeing each other very complicated."
Nicole has signed up for 'Dancing with the Stars' - where she has been partnered with Cheryl Cole's friend Derek Hough - and Lewis wants to be able to spend as much time with her as he can while she remains in the show, which is filmed in Los Angeles.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Depending on how well Nicole does in the show, she could be in Los Angeles for months.
"Lewis likes a bit of variety so he's opted for two properties, a secluded house in Melrose and a swanky penthouse near his favourite shopping arcade, The Grove."
Earlier this week, Lewis admitted he and Nicole were determined to make their relationship work this time.
The racing champion - who rekindled his romance with the pop beauty after the pair split in early January due to work pressures - said: "You make it work, you do all you can, you know? When something is worth it, you do it."

Robert Pattinson is to be immortalised in wax.
The 'Twilight' actor is the latest star to be honoured with his own waxwork by famous museum Madame Tussauds and his figure will be unveiled in both the New York and London branches.
Artist Luke Fisher is keen to give the statues a true resemblance and has received a lot of help from other members of staff.
Madame Tussauds said: "They have been studying hundreds of photos and pouring through hours of video to ensure that they capture R-Pattz's trademark sultry expression and inimitable style."
Robert follows in the footsteps of a host of stars to have been immortalised in wax including Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Marilyn Monroe and David and Victoria Beckham.
The waxworks will give fans on both sides of the Atlantic a rare chance to get close to the heartthrob as he recently revealed he hides from his followers because he finds the attention hard to deal with.
He said: "You are trying to limit the amount of time you have to deal with it. I do a bit of hiding."

Christian Bale's sister filed for bankruptcy yesterday (02.03.10).
The 'Dark Knight' star - whose family had him arrested in July 2008 on assault charges after an incident at London's Dorchester hotel - is unlikely to offer his sister Sharon any of his £30 million fortune, despite the charges later being dropped, because they have not spoken since.
His sister Sharon, 42, faced the bankruptcy hearing at Bournemouth County Court, and is in the precarious financial situation because of a number of disastrous property investments.
She said: "Christian doesn't know about the bankruptcy. I wouldn't expect him to help. We don't speak anymore. It's totally his decision and it makes us all very sad. I started my own property investment company and made some mistakes."
Christian's 61-year-old mother Jenny - whose daughter now faces the possibility of losing her home - revealed they not had any contact with Christian for the past year.
She said: "Sharon is in a pretty dire situation and has always tried her hardest to support her family. We don't have Christian's current number and he doesn't know anything about what's happening."
Speaking of the incident which led to the family feud - where Christian was questioned for four hours and required to supply his fingerprints, DNA saliva sample and a photograph - Sharon told The Sun newspaper: "I had an argument with him because he was totally out of order in front of my children. I'd had enough of the violent behaviour. It flared up into a ridiculous thing and he has not spoken to us since. I regret going to the police."
