Samantha Ronson visited Lindsay Lohan in prison yesterday (22.07.10).
The DJ - who has remained friends with the troubled actress since they split in 2009 - turned up at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, at around 1.40pm, where she spent about an hour inside talking with Lindsay.
After being asked how the 24-year-old star was coping in jail, Samantha said: "How do you think she's doing? What a stupid f***ing question."
The prison usually only allows inmates to be visited by friends and family on weekends, but because of security reasons, the detention centre has allowed Lindsay to see people outside these hours for her own safety.
She was previously visited by her mother Dina and sister Ali on Wednesday (21.07.10), just one day after she started her 90-day prison sentence for violating the terms of her probation for her 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) charge.
After visiting Lindsay yesterday, Samantha, 32, chatted to the actress' lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who had visited her client with her former attorney Blair Berk earlier in the day.
Despite Samantha's negative remark, Shawn is adamant Lindsay is learning to cope with life inside.
She said: "She's good. She's doing better every day."
Lindsay is expected to serve around two weeks of her sentence, leaving either on August 1 or August 2.
Within 24 hours of her release, she will need to check into a rehabilitation centre for 90 days.
Although she is taking visitors, the 'Mean Girls' actress has banned her estranged father Michael Lohan from seeing her.
The blogger's ex-fiancee Kate Major filed a restraining order against him on Wednesday (21.07.10), claiming he threw her out of a chair into a wall and kicked her in the face on Monday (19.07.10) He has now been charged with second degree harassment relating to the incident.
He said: "I have more important issues to deal with than Kate Major. The last few months have been hard with her, and dozens of people will come forward to say why. I'm tired of being used by people who need to make up stories to make money off of others."

Katie Price wears pyjamas to dinner parties.
The former glamour model - who has children Harvey, eight, Junior, five, and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii from previous relationships - loves entertaining friends at the home she shares with husband Alex Reid but doesn't think making an effort with her wardrobe is necessary.
She said: "I am always entertaining. Every weekend, I cook for about 15 to 20 people. I've got this reputation for partying all the time but I can't remember the last time I went out.
"I don't really have any famous friends; it's just my family, friends and all their kids.
I never dress up for dinner parties; I put on my tracksuit or my pyjamas. A good dinner party is about sleeping off your food in front of a film".
The 32-year-old star also claimed she never drinks alcohol at home - but loves to indulge in her favourite tipples when out socialising.
She told The Times newspaper: "When I go out I binge drink but I would never drink alcohol at home - it would just be Diet Coke."
She continued: "I don't really have any famous friends; it's just my family, friends and all their kids."
Katie also revealed that she is happier playing board games than going to a celebrity party.
She added: "We play Balderdash or Articulate or watch a movie in the cinema room."

Rochelle Wiseman thinks her boyfriend Marvin Humes is "The One".
The Saturdays singer - who has been dating the JLS heartthrob since earlier this year - admitted she can't wait to move in with the 25-year-old star, who recently admitted he has found his dream girl.
When asked what she thought of Marvin describing her as 'The One', she told BANG Showbiz: "He's my boyfriend. I love it! He's my One as well. We're just about to move in together. I didn't realise it was so interesting but apparently it is. But it's cool! You're making me blush."
Despite making time for her boyfriend, the 21-year-old beauty - - who is joined in the group by Frankie Sandford, Vanessa White, Una Healy and Mollie King - has little time for anything else, and admits the current promotion for their song 'Missing You' leads to a gruelling schedule, although she still enjoys it.
Speaking at is Heart's Love Music Live with The Saturdays at London's Studio Valbonne, she added: "We literally haven't stopped. Doing all our summer dates, touring, radio shows, but it's wicked, we're looking forward to the single coming out now."
Marvin recently admitted he wouldn't be dating Rochelle if he didn't think their romance had a future.
He said: "I wouldn't be with her if she wasn't The One. I don't believe in being with someone if you don't believe they couldn't be that person."

Gary Barlow is planning a hike to the North Pole.
The Take That singer - who let a celebrity charity expedition up Mount Kilimanjaro last year - is hoping to convince a group of showbiz pals to join him on the gruelling arctic trip in spring 2012 to raise money for BBC Sport Relief.
His latest challenge is likely to take a week to complete.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Gary loves a challenge, so as soon as he finished the Kilimanjaro trip he was working out what to do next. There was talk of climbing Everest but that's a seriously tough exercise.
"Getting to the North Pole is not exactly easier but it is more do-able and takes less time."
Gary already seems to be shaping up for the challenge - after the singer and his Take That bandmates agreed to ban alcohol at their concerts next year.
The group - who have been rejoined by Robbie Williams - will only serve soft drinks backstage during their proposed epic 54-date tour for the sake of the 'Angels' singer and bandmate Mark Owen, who have battled alcohol problems in the past.
A source said: "It's a sensitive subject but alcohol will be off limits for the band and crew. Their last tour was one giant party and for Mark and Robbie's sake, that just won't work this time around."

Simon Cowell is ready to become a father.
The 50-year-old music mogul has reportedly agreed to fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy's requests to start a family, and the couple plan to begin trying to conceive in the near future.
A friend of the make-up artist said: "She's already told her friends: 'I want to have Simon's baby - and I'm not prepared to wait much longer.'
"She said last week that she will start trying before the end of the year and that Simon is up for it."
Simon and Mezghan - who got engaged in February - were originally believed to be planning to marry this summer, but after delaying their nuptials, the brunette beauty is determined to carry out her plan to have children as soon as possible.
The friend revealed to Closer magazine: "Simon doesn't want to rush into a summer wedding so Mezghan wants to move on to the next big project, which she says is becoming a mum.
"Mezghan thinks he'll be a great dad, but she's worried he might change his mind about wanting a baby as he was so anti the idea before."
