Ozzy Osbourne used to ask women if he could watch TV at their house in a secret bid to bed them.
The Black Sabbath rocker - who has been married to Sharon Osbourne since 1982 - has confessed he used to dupe unsuspecting women into letting him watch TV at their house when what he really wanted to do was "get them in the sack".
He explained: "I always had a great chat-up line for the birds. After a night out, I'd say, 'Can I come back to your house and watch your telly?' It was brilliant because it made it sound like all I wanted to do was catch up on the News at Ten, when I was planning to get them in the sack.
"Nobody fell for it, though. Most of the time they just went, 'I ain't got a telly'."
However, it could have been the musician's choice of footwear that was putting the ladies off, as he admitted he used to have a penchant for wearing glittery platform shoes.
Ozzy added to the Sunday Times Magazine: "I ain't short but I used to wear glittery platform things in the 1970s and I thought they were the dogs' b******s."

Alexandra Burke doesn't have time for love.
The 'Start Without You' singer - who has been linked to the likes of Usher and rugby ace Danny Cipriani in the past - confessed she would like to find a special someone who can make her smile.
She explained: "I haven't got time for a boyfriend but love interests are exciting. Someone who can make me smile and understand my schedule. And shop for food with me and take me to see a movie."
The 22-year-old singer - who won Simon Cowell's talent search show 'The X Factor' in 2008 - admitted she is so busy she doesn't even get to see as much of her close family as she would like.
Alexandra added to You magazine: "I miss my family and hope to buy a place near them at some point in the future when the fuss dies down.
"I spend so much time flying to Los Angeles or Paris or Tokyo or Sweden that when I get back to London I curl up with my pink teddy called Family - because they gave him to me when I was auditioning for 'The X Factor' - and my Yorkshire terrier and watch my box set of 'Friends'."

Westlife are secret party animals.
The Irish boyband - who are known for their clean-cut image - have admitted they can get away with "leading double lives" because no-one is aware they have such a rebellious streak.
Kian Egan explained: "We can put the drink away, b****y sure we can. Come on, we're Irishmen! We've been at parties where we've got away with murder because everyone assumes we're boring. The paparazzi never hang around for us, so we can almost lead a double life.
"Mark and I are probably the worst. We've done 40 nights on the trot before and I guess some people would be called alcoholics for that."
However, despite the band's boozy nights out, Kian confessed the group - completed by Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan - have a strict anti-drugs policy.
He added to Fabulous magazine: "We've never gone down that road. I've never been offered hard drugs and if we've been at parties where it's going on we've left immediately. I don't want to be around it.
"And anyone who works with us knows that if there's even a whiff of drugs they'll be sacked."

Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint used to hide from their bodyguards.
The trio - who played Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in the 'Harry Potter' franchise for almost ten years - hated having to be followed wherever they went and so would to try and make an escape as often as possible.
Emma said: "I hate having bodyguards and when we were younger, Dan, Rupert and I used to try to hide from the people trying to keep an eye on us."
Now the stunning actress - who is juggling her acting and modelling careers with studying at Brown University in America - has learned to accept attention from fans and prefers to go out without any bodyguards as she is often able to go out without being disturbed.
She added: "Now it's like 'Really, I'm fine.' I take the train and the bus and, if I don't dress up too much, I'm usually fine. Occasionally people stop me but I'd rather deal with that than not go out at all. That'd be really tragic."

Kate Winslet has split from her boyfriend.
The 'Revolutionary Road' actress - who separated from her film director husband Sam Mendes in March - has reportedly called time on her romance with male model Louis Dowler after just four months of dating.
Despite being "very grateful" to the 35-year-old hunk for allowing her to get over the breakdown of her marriage, Kate is said to have ended the relationship to "concentrate on her career and children".
A friend of the star told MailOnline: "Louis was just the tonic Kate needed after her painful split from Sam and they had a wonderful time. However, they have realised their relationship isn't working and Kate needs space to be on her own.
"She is very grateful to Louis for helping her pick her life back up after her marriage ended and they had a lot of fun together, but she felt it had come to an end and wants to concentrate on her career and children."
Prior to the split, Kate - who has a six-year-old son Joe with Sam, as well as ten-year-old Mia from her first marriage to director Jim Threapleton - had reportedly been contemplating marriage with the British model.
A pal recently said: "As far as Kate is concerned, they could go all the way together - get married, have kids. She's the happiest we've ever seen her, he really brings out a wonderful, carefree side to her that we haven't seen for years."
