Katie Price

(BANG) -

Katie Price has announced two of her children will no longer be making public appearances.

The former glamour model will no longer let Junior, five, and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii - her kids with ex-husband Peter Andre - appear on screen because she is keen for them to lead "normal lives".

In a statement released to BANG Showbiz, Katie said: "I believe Junior and Princess are now of an age where they are starting to become aware of the attention they are subject to and it is beginning to impact on them.

"If their lives remain in the public eye they could become the subject of unnecessary interest and attention of many other pupils, their families, strangers and so on.

"I don't want that. It's not healthy for them. I want them to live normal and ordinary lives as privately as possible, to enjoy their childhood without unnecessary and unwelcome attention, as far away as can be from public fuss and interest."

The 32-year-old beauty - who also has eight-year-old Harvey from a previous relationship - admitted she has become increasingly concerned about the "security implications" of featuring the children in her current series 'What Katie Did Next' and photo shoots to promote her various business ventures.

Katie added: "There are too, of course, security implications. Therefore I cannot justify to myself putting my children into the public domain to make my photo-shoots and TV programmes more attractive and more valuable when it is starting to impact on their ability to grow up normally.

"I have to put my children first and I hope people will accept this decision on that basis."

Sir Elton John

(BANG) -

Sir Elton John will be "busking" outside the royal wedding.

The legendary singer - who performed 'Candle in the Wind' at the funeral of Prince William's late mother, Princess Diana, who was a close friend of the star - joked that the only way he will be putting on a show at the nuptials of William and his fiancee Kate Middleton is if he is "busking" outside.

He said: "I probably will be playing there in the sense that I'll be outside busking."

However, it is unlikely the 'Sacrifice' hitmaker will have seen much coverage of the royal wedding - which is to be held on April 29 2011 - as he revealed he doesn't own a mobile phone, computer or iPod.

Sir Elton added to BBC Radio 2: " I don't have a iPod or a mobile phone or a computer. I do have a quarter of a million pairs of glasses but I don't even have a mobile phone! If people want to get hold of me they can.

"The internet doesn't interest me either apart from getting my sports scores. I have a computer in the Los Angeles office but literally all I check is the news and the sports scores.

"I feel my life is full enough already and there's enough going on. I prefer writing personal notes and writing things down. Being on a Blackberry all the time would drive me crazy."

Kimberley Walsh

(BANG) -

Kimberley Walsh is reportedly planning to start a family soon.

The 'Girls Aloud' singer - who has been dating Justin Scott for eight years -recently admitted to becoming "seriously broody" after her sister Sally announced her pregnancy and pals now claim she is hoping to have kids of her own soon.

A friend said: "Kimberly and Justin are following every step of Sally's pregnancy and are absolutely loving stocking up on little outfits for when he or she arrives. She's become incredibly broody."

Kimberley's band is currently on hiatus with no immediate plans to reform and friends say the singer thinks now is the perfect time to have children.

The pal added to Heat magazine: "She's always dreamt of starting a family and thinks this could be the ideal time as it's becoming clear that the group won't be reuniting any time soon.

"Cheryl Cole is focusing on her 'X Factor' judging duties and solo career. Plus, the four girls are barely in contact with Nadine Coyle.

"She turns 30 next year and she always planned on being married and having kids by then.

Ricky Gervais

(BANG) -

Ricky Gervais is pen pals with David Bowie.

The British comedian confessed the pair first bonded after they penned a song together - entitled 'Pug-Nosed Face' - and then began sending emails back and forth.

He explained: "I've written a song with him - it was called 'Pug-Nosed Face' and it was about me! I sent him the lyrics and I was talking to him on the phone and I was going, 'If you could do something really retro like 'Life on Mars'?' and he went, 'Oh sure, I'll just knock off a 'Life on Mars' for you then shall I?' It was great!

"Later he must have got my email and he said, 'I watched 'The Office'. It was funny. I laughed. What do I do now?' and we sort of became pen pals."

Ricky also admitted he has even been sending the legendary star abusive emails.

He added to Magic 105.4 radio station: "I remember I sent him an email on his 57th birthday and I said, '57! Isn't it about time you got a proper job? Ricky Gervais, 42, comedian.' And he wrote back, 'I have a proper job. David Bowie, 57, rock god'."

The full interview takes place on November 28 on British station Magic 105.4.

Kylie Minogue

(BANG) -

Kylie Minogue will "be like a five year old" with excitement if she gets to see a white Christmas this year.

The 'All The Lovers' singer is releasing a festive single - a cover of 1945 classic 'Let It Snow', originally recorded by Vaughn Monroe - which she admits is somewhat ironic, because it is always summertime in her native Australia in December.

She told Perezhilton.com: "I think it's kind of ironic that I'm singing 'Let It Snow' being an Australian - we don't have snow at Christmas time. So if in fact it does snow whilst I'm in New York this year, I'll be like a five year old kid, I'll be so excited.

"It's always a big thrill for me to be on the side of the world where it's a white Christmas."

Although 'Let It Snow' is considered a festive song, its lyrics never mention Christmas and it was written in conditions Kylie could appreciate - on one of California's hottest days on record by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne .

The 42-year-old has previously recorded a version of Eartha Kitt's Christmas hit 'Santa Baby', which has also been covered by Madonna, Sugababes and Reverend Run of rap group Run DMC.

Kylie's version of 'Let It Snow' will be released in early December.
