Nicole Scherzinger

(BANG) -

Nicole Scherzinger's family hate her raunchy stage outfits.

The Pussycat Dolls star - who grew up in a staunchly Catholic family - admitted her grandfather, who is a priest, and her mother are often shocked by her provocative clothes.

She said: "I still listen to my mom and my grandfather is a priest! They weren't too excited when they saw the covers of magazines where my back was nude, and when I did the 'Hush Hush' video, my mother was like:, 'Oh my goodness, I can't believe you were at the bathtub, almost. so bare.' "

However the 'Poison' singer says that despite her family's conservative views when it comes to her stage outfits they are extremely supportive of her career and her grandfather even went to Pussycat Dolls concerts before the band went on hiatus.

She told Britain's OK! magazine: "For the most part my family have been very supportive of me. They know where my heart lies and what my faith is and that I'm still grounded.

"They go to my shows. My grandfather in his priest outfit, had pictures taken with all of the Pussycat Dolls."

Russell Brand

(BANG) -

Katy Perry is making Russell Brand take driving lessons.

The 'Firework' hitmaker is reportedly furious that she has to chauffer the couple everywhere when they go out in Los Angeles and is begging her husband to attempt to be legally allowed on the road.

A source said: "Katy gave Russell a $100,000 Range Rover as a Christmas gift last year but he's never been able to use it.

"That's bugged her a bit because she's had to do all the driving and she was getting sick and tired of it.

"They spend a lot of time in LA where everyone drives and Katy finds it bizarre that he doesn't have a license. After all, she learnt to drive when she was 15."

Russell has been taking lessons but doesn't find driving easy, though he has promised Katy - who he married in India in October - he will continue working towards getting his license.

The source added to Now magazine: "Russell's already failed his test a couple of times in the US - he's not exactly the greatest driver.

"The problem is he gets distracted so easily, but Katy's persuaded him to get behind the wheel and keep trying. Let's hope for her sake that he manages to get his license this time around."

Ricky Gervais

(BANG) -

Ricky Gervais was once so poor he couldn't afford soap.

The 49-year-old British funnyman - who didn't find fame until 2001 with his sitcom 'The Office' - thought it was better to ensure he had a smart wardrobe than soft skin when rationing his water usage in order to cut costs as a struggling student.

The millionaire star explained: "I was down to my last 50 pence. The last remnants of my student grant. The water meter in my flat had reached zero and I had no clean clothes to wear.

"Also, I needed a wash. So I decided to wash myself and my clothes at the same time. But I had a dilemma.

"Do I put the shirts in with me and use the last bit of shampoo, thereby compromising the shirts? Or do I put the last bit of Daz [washing powder] in and compromise my skin?

"In the end I went for the Daz option. Let's get my shirts looking good, that's the priority. It was a big mistake because I felt all gritty and itchy."

The 49-year-old funnyman also told how he was reduced to eating breakfast cereal Shredded Wheat with cold baked beans on top before eventually graduating University College London in the early 80s with a degree in philosophy.

He recalled to Live magazine: "I was starving and had nothing at all to eat so decided to raid one of the kitchens in the halls of residence, but all I could find was some stale Shredded Wheat and a tin of baked beans. Then I found out that the oven didn't work, so I just poured the cold beans on top of it.

"It was pretty grim."

Ricky - who was estimated to have a fortune of around £7 million in 2007 - has previously said he doesn't let his fame and riches go to his head, and remains humble since becoming successful.

He said: "I don't sit back and say, 'I deserve to earn silly amounts'. Doing so has made me feel guilty.

"Apart from being able to afford more things, I haven't changed my habits.

"I didn't go into the industry because I wanted to be famous. It can all get a bit embarrassing."

Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges attend UK Tron: Legacy premiere

(BANG) -

Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges braved the cold for the UK premiere of 'Tron: Legacy' last night (05.12.10).

The two stars walked the blue carpet at London's Empire Leicester Square for the 3D movie sequel, though 61-year-old Jeff - who reprises his role as video game developer Kevin Flynn after starring in the 1982 original 'Tron' - admitted he had doubted whether it was a good idea to sign up to the second film.

He said: "I had a little bit of hesitation. They assured me it wasn't just beautiful eye candy and it would be a good story.

"They came up with one and I am thrilled with it. It's wonderful. I had heard the rumours for so long. It's a real ride."

Joining 'House' actress Olivia - who plays warrior Quorra in the 3D remastering of the movie - Jeff also appears alongside Bruce Boxleitner, who appeared as his alter ego's colleague Alan Bradley in 'Tron'.

Director Joseph Kosinski explained he felt it important to feature original members of the cast in the new film to provide a "connection" to the 1982 classic.

He said: "It was really important to have a connection to the original film. Jeff Bridges, you know, is one of the best actors working today."

Also in attendance at the premiere were singer Alison Goldfrapp - who stunned crowds in a futuristic full-body white leotard - and 'Glee' stars Kevin McHale, Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz.

Ozzy Osbourne

(BANG) -

Ozzy Osbourne says the only time he won't want sex is when he's dead.

The 61-year-old rocker - who is married to 'America's Got Talent' star Sharon Osbourne - said he thinks about sex constantly and it is still one of his favourite activities.

Ozzy said: "I firmly believe that the only time you'll ever get any peace from down below is when you're in the ground. I'm almost 62 and I still love a good old game of Where's the Salami?"

However Sharon may not be such a fan as the Black Sabbath singer joked he often has difficulty convincing his wife satisfy his needs.

He added to The Sunday Times Magazine: "Getting anyone to play it with me is a different matter."

Although Ozzy refuses to allow his age to affect his sex life, he admitted he does miss his wild drinking days and at one stage came up with a fail safe way to avoid hangovers.

He explained: "I'd mix four tablespoons of brandy with four tablespoons of port, then throw in some milk, a few egg yolks and -if I was in a festive mood - some nutmeg. The second I woke, I'd mix it up and down it.

"The way it works is very clever: it gets you instantly blasted again so you don't feel a thing."
