Emma Watson

(BANG) -

Emma Watson "pounced" on Rupert Grint during their on screen kiss.

The 19-year-old beauty dreaded locking lips with her co-star in 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' and was in a hurry to shoot the scene.

She said on UK TV show 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross': "I pounced on him, I was so desperate to get it over with."

Emma, who is set to start at Columbia University in the US later this year, hopes to balance her studies with her acting career.

The British actress is keen to pursue a new direction once she has finished filming the final 'Harry Potter' movie.

When asked if her future lies in acting, Emma said: "Definitely. I'm so excited about going to university but it doesn't mean to say I can't do something else, I want to have my cake and eat it. I'd like to try comedy."

Emma also insists she doesn't feel like she has lost out on a childhood, after landing the role of Hermione Granger aged just 10.

She said: "I never felt like I was missing out - we were able to be kids because we were together, whatever weird thing we were doing."

Robert Pattinson

(BANG) -

Robert Pattinson is finding fame "strange".

The 'Twilight' star, who has attracted hordes of fans since playing vampire Edward Cullen in the hit teen franchise, is still adjusting to life as a worldwide star.

His 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' co-star Jamie Campbell Bower said: "Robert is coping with it all very well. I think he is finding all the attention a bit strange.

"I met all the cast for the first time when we started shooting the second film. It was fun.

"I hung out with them and they are lovely people. There is always a connection with actors that you work with - it doesn't matter it you like them or not. There is always a connection."

Jamie - who plays Caius in the second vampire instalment - was overwhelmed by the attention the cast attracted while they were shooting in the US.

The 20-year-old British actor added to BANG Showbiz: "It is nice to be back in England because I have anonymity there and I can do whatever I want. But being in America was absolutely crazy, you couldn't go out. There were paparazzi following us everywhere. It was fun for me because I was only there for two-and-a-half weeks but I feel sorry for the guys who have to deal with it the whole time."

Rupert Grint

(BANG) -

Rupert Grint has more money than he knows "what to do with".

The 20-year-old actor - who plays Ron Weasley in the 'Harry Potter' film franchise - only realised how rich he was when he was featured in Forbes' list of top earning young superstars in 2007.

He said: "There was a moment where I remember thinking, 'I have no idea what I'm going to do with all this money.' "

Despite his worries, the star has made every effort top put a dent in his wealth, buying a pick-up truck, banjo, ice-cream van, hovercraft and a home for his parents - but still prefers other aspects of fame.

Rupert explained: "Money isn't the only good thing about the job. I've gotten to meet heroes like Robin Williams. Although, my grandfather spent the whole time doing Mrs. Doubtfire impressions."

The actor says his celebrity status makes him a hit with women, but he is wary of plunging into a relationship too quickly.

He explained: "I know I could use my fame to meet women and I definitely notice a lot more attention when I go out because of it. But I'm still a bit careful. I don't want to meet a girl who's specifically trying to take advantage of that. And I try not to Google myself because I'd find the results too uncomfortable."

Rupert also revealed he thinks his 'Harry Potter' co-star Emma Watson is pretty, but refused to be drawn on whether he or Daniel Radcliffe - who plays the boy wizard Harry - lusts after her.

He added to FHM magazine: "Emma's a pretty girl. Have Daniel or I ever hit on Emma? Well, she's quite popular with the cast. As for who has the worst crush on her - me or Daniel - I'd rather not say."

Michael Jackson

(BANG) -

Michael Jackson allegedly used 20 aliases to apply for bank loans.

The late singer - who died from a suspected cardiac arrest last week - reportedly used several variations of his name because his credit history was so poor and financial institutions were reluctant to give him money.

In 2007, the 'Thriller' singer - who was raised in the Jehovah's Witness faith - allegedly applied for loans under the names President Mr Michael Jackson, Michael JJJ Christ-Jehovah, Michael J Jackson ChristJeh, Michael Jackson Jehovah and Mike J Jackson.

He also reportedly used alternative spellings of Michael - Micheal and Micheel - in a bid to trick bank managers.

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, leaked financial documents linked to some of Michael's properties show the failed applications.

It is illegal to give a false name to a financial institution for money for the purpose of influencing the bank's decision and anyone found guilty could face fines of $1 million, 30 years in prison or both.

Despite being one of the most successful musicians of all time, Michael has struggled financially in recent years and was reportedly desperate for monetary help.

A source said: "Michael Jackson's financial affairs were beyond a mess with county court judgements and taxes owed all over the place. No bank was prepared to bail him out."

Meanwhile, Tommy Mottola, the former boss of Sony music - who own the distribution rights to Michael's music - has revealed the label has "dozens" of unreleased tracks in storage which could guarantee the pop legend a place in the charts for the next 30 years.

He said: "There are dozens of songs that did not end up on any of his albums. People will be hearing a lot of that unreleased material for the first time ever. There's just some genius and brilliance in there.

"The releases could go on and on for years - even more than Elvis."

According to record sources, the collection of tracks includes recently recorded material with Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am and singer-and-producer Akon.

Tommy also said the collection includes singles left off Michael's earlier LPs, including 'Bad' and 'HIStory'.

It is believed Michael - who currently holds nine out of the 10 top US album chart spots - kept the unreleased tracks back to ensure financial security for his three children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II.

Meanwhile, details of the late singer's will - which was released yesterday (02.07.09) - have been revealed.

Michael's mother Katherine Jackson will reportedly get 40 per cent of the assets, his three children will get a further 40 per cent and the remaining 20 per cent will be donated to several children's charities.

Beyonce Knowles

(BANG) -

Beyonce Knowles wants to star in 'Sister Act'.

The 'Single Ladies' singer is so desperate to dress up as a nun for a remake of the 1992 movie - which was recently turned into a sell-out musical in London's West End theatre district - she is begging Disney bosses to take up the project.

Britain's Daily Mail newspaper reports: "Beyonce has asked her representatives to persuade Disney to develop the show into a film vehicle for her.

"If this comes to pass, she would take on, in musical form, the part Whoopi Goldberg creates in the 1992 'Sister Act' film, although the stage version moves the action from the West Coast to Philadelphia."

The 27-year-old beauty recently took a break from her UK 'I Am Sasha Fierce tour' to watch the show at the London Palladium theatre.

If the movie project goes ahead, Beyonce will play sexy singer Deloris Van Cartier - the role previously portrayed by Hollywood actress Whoopi Goldberg - who is forced to dress up as a nun while fleeing a group of gangsters.

Beyonce is also in talks about releasing 'Take Me To Heaven', one of the musical's well-known hits.

Filming will not start until after 2011, following the musical's move to New York's Broadway theatre district in late 2010.

US actress Patina Miller is currently playing the lead character in the West End musical which was co-produced by Whoopi.
