Rupert Grint

(BANG) -

Rupert Grint thought he was going to die from swine flu.

The 'Harry Potter' actor - who plays Ron Weasley in the hit wizard film franchise - panicked when doctors confirmed he had the highly contagious illness, which has caused several fatalities around the globe in recent weeks.

He said: "It was quite scary when I first found out I had swine flu. I thought, 'Am I going to die?' But it was just like any other flu really. I had a sore throat and I went to bed for a few days."

However, the British actor seemingly felt better as he greeted fans at the UK premiere of the sixth film, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' in London's Leicester Square last night (07.07.09).

Last week, it was revealed the 20-year-old star had been forced to take time off from filming 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' - the final big screen adaptation of the JK Rowling novels - when he contracted the illness.

His publicist said: "Other scenes were shot in his absence which did not requite his involvement and this filming was not disrupted."

The publicist also confirmed Rupert is back in good health and is no longer contagious or at risk of infecting others.

Miley Cyrus

(BANG) -

Miley Cyrus is "stoked" with her new clothing line.

The 'Hannah Montana' actress has teamed up with designer Max Azria to create an affordable range with will be available from US store Wal-Mart, and insists it is one of the best things she has ever done.

She said: "Oh my God, I'm so stoked! It's a lot of peasanty, flowy tops, hippie and loose and sexy, like boho chill mixed with English-rocker-esque. Plaids, studs, rips, cool colors. The jeans are my favorite part of the entire line.

"Because, like, literally, this is going to good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but they don't have it available. I would pay $500 for the jeans that we make for $20. I'm really into high fashion."

Miley, 16, also opened up about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas - who she is rumoured to be dating again after her recent split from underwear model Justin Gaston - claiming they share a special bond because they have both grown up in the spotlight.

Referring to her fellow Disney star Demi Lovato, Miley explained to the US edition of Elle magazine: "It's hard for all of us. That's why me and Nick are so close, and me and Demi are so close. There are so many people that could be using you. So me and Nick and Demi, we don't need anything from each other. We got our own thing going on."

Daniel Radcliffe

(BANG) -

Daniel Radcliffe braved torrential rain and hail at the world premiere of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' in London's Leicester Square last night (07.07.09).

The 19-year-old star spent an hour signing autographs for some of the 3,000 screaming fans who had been camping next to the red carpet for more than 24 hours.

When it became clear the rain was not going to ease, Rupert joined Daniel, shunning umbrellas to get closer to the crowd.

But while the boys cackled and splashed about in the rain, Emma Watson remained dry and warm in her limousine, unwilling to get her vintage Ossie Clark gown wet.

The stunning actress eventually emerged nearly an hour later, waving to fans and posing for pictures with a sodden Rupert and Daniel.

She thanked fans for braving the inclement weather, gushing to BANG Showbiz: "It's just so fantastic that people have been so dedicated to come down and see us all. My message to the fans is thank you so much I love you all and I'll be so sad when this series finally comes to an end."

Daniel agreed, adding: "It's going to be very, very sad to finish these movies but at the same time it will be exciting, there's more stuff to move on to, so I'm not purely depressed about finishing them."

The film's other stars Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Gambon, Bonnie Wright, Helen McCrory, Tom Felton, Jessie Cave, Evanna Lynch and Matthew Lewis also attended the premiere.

But it was 'Harry Potter' creator JK Rowling who got the biggest cheers of the evening. The author arrived minutes before the screening was due to start, walking briskly through the crowds in a sexy electric blue gown, smiling and waving to fans.

Most of the cast wore white ribbons around their wrists in tribute to their murdered co-star Rob Knox, who was stabbed outside a London pub last May.

Daniel said: "Rob would have loved to be here tonight. It's awful that he's not. It must be very hard for his family."

The film is the sixth in the popular boy wizard franchise.

It sees Harry and Professor Dumbledore desperately trying to devise a plan to defeat dark Wizard Lord Voldemort, as Hogwarts faces attack from both outside and within.

Clive Owen, Jamie Oliver, Graham Norton, Gordon Ramsay and Pixie Geldof also walked the red carpet at the event.

The film will be released next Wednesday (15.07.09).

Lady Gaga

(BANG) -

Lady Gaga is "flattered" fans choose to have tattoos of her.

The 'Poker Face' singer - who is known for her outrageous fashion choices and skimpy outfits - is delighted many of her admirers are prepared to permanently ink their skin to show their devotion to her.

She said: "This fan got this amazing tattoo on his arm, this massive Lady Gaga tattoo that was very intricate and very detailed and in it I was wearing this crystal outfit - but this thing was like an art piece. I was so flattered because tattoos are for life."

Lady GaGa is confident she is one of only a handful of stars whose fans are prepared to put themselves through physical pain.

She explained: "I should imagine that most pop stars don't experience that kind of gesture. I mean, it was a really big tattoo all the way down his arm. Pretty rock 'n' roll!"

The 23-year-old outrageous singer - who recently posed topless for a photo shoot in V Magazine - has also vowed to calm down her party girl lifestyle.

She said: "I'm not a go-out-and-party girl. I'm actually taking every minute I have to myself to write music and be in the studio right now."

Daniel Radcliffe

(BANG) -

Daniel Radcliffe is taking ballet lessons.

The 19-year-old actor is so worried he won't be able to find a job after the 'Harry Potter' films come to an end he has decided to don tights and slippers in a bid to make him more employable.

He told Esquire magazine: "I'm learning the basics of ballet. The thing is, in a few years I'll be 21, 22, and that's when all the guys who've been at drama school will come out.

"They've been learning dance or singing and all that stuff and I'm going to need to compete with them because I won't have 'Harry Potter' as my safety net any more. I need to make myself as viable a choice for any part as I possibly can."

Radcliffe and his co-stars Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Bonnie Wright and Tom Felton will wear white wrist ribbons at the world premiere of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' in London tonight (07.07.09), in tribute to murdered cast member Rob Knox.

Knox - who played Marcus Belby in the movie - was stabbed outside a bar in Kent, England, in May, just weeks after filming wrapped.

Daniel said: "What happened to Rob was awful."

Bonnie Wright - who plays Harry's love interest Ginny Weasley - added: "The premiere is going to be a traumatic experience for his family."
