Paris Hilton

(BANG) -

Paris Hilton will marry in the summer.

The 27-year-old hotel heiress and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt are yet to get engaged but are planning an extravagant wedding to be held later this year.

A source said: "Right now, they are thinking about a summer wedding. Maybe August, in the Bahamas. They really care about each other, so they're kind of thinking, 'Why not?' "

Rumours the couple are readying themselves to tie the knot have been circulating for weeks.

Earlier this week, the socialite admitted she was desperate to make 'The Hills' star her husband.

Paris - who began dating Doug in February - said: "He's going to be my husband. We're best friends. It's not like we just met. We've known each other over the past year. I was in a relationship before and we reconnected. I'm really in love and really happy."

Last month, it was reported Doug had got down on one knee in front of Paris' family as they enjoyed dinner at restaurant The Ivy, in Los Angeles, to pop the question.

However, the blonde socialite snapped the ring box shut and told him she needed time to consider his proposal.

Lindsay Lohan

(BANG) -

Lindsay Lohan is in "hell" after splitting from Samantha Ronson.

The 'Mean Girls' actress and her DJ girlfriend called time on their tumultuous relationship on Friday (03.04.09) after almost a year together, and Lindsay admits she is struggling to cope on her own.

She said: "It's absolute hell. It just really hurts, the whole situation is sick."

Lindsay, 21, was turned away from a party at Los Angeles' Bar Marmont where Samantha was playing a DJ set late on Friday night, and admits the scenes which unfolded were "humiliating".

The actress was barred from entering the bash by five security guards - reportedly hired by Samantha's family to keep her away.

Lindsay told Us Weekly magazine: "It was the worst night of my life."

Following the incident, Lindsay took to her blog on social networking website Twitter and accused Samantha of cheating on her and taking drugs.

On Saturday (04.04.09), Samantha had the locks changed on the Hollywood Hills home she lived at with Lindsay.

A distressed Lindsay said: "I'm not a bad person and this is what happens. I was raised to treat people well, and I'm so tired of this drama."

The actress admits she feels "so alone" since splitting from the 31-year-old musician, and claims Samantha's friends - including Nicole Richie - have now turned on her.

Referring to the incident at Bar Marmont, she explained: "I'm a 22-year-old girl who's in love. I felt like I was in 'Mean Girls', but worse - 'Mean Girls' was a movie."

It has also been claimed Samantha tried to break up with Lindsay many times over the past month but backed out when Lindsay threatened to kill herself.

Meanwhile, Samantha has denied claims she is seeking a restraining order against her former girlfriend.

It was originally claimed the DJ's mother Ann and sister Charlotte had visited a police station on Monday (06.04.09) to enquire about ways to keep the actress away from Samantha.

Her lawyer David Bass said: "Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order. There is no basis for one."

Lindsay is currently being comforted by her mother Dina and sister Ali, while her father Michael - who has publicly admitted he dislikes Samantha and called for Lindsay to end the relationship - is en route to Los Angeles to see her.

He said: "Break-ups are never pretty and they're never easy. I'm here for Lindsay any time. I've cleared by schedule to go to her. At a time like this she needs someone standing by her side. It's time for Lindsay to resurrect her life and career."

Madonna

(BANG) -

Madonna burst into tears during a night out in London yesterday (07.04.09).

The singer was enjoying dinner at Cecconi's Restaurant in Mayfair with designer Stella McCartney when she reached into her handbag and pulled out a picture of Mercy James, the four-year-old Malawian orphan she is trying to adopt.

But after a few minutes of excited conversation, the 50-year-old star started sobbing while Stella, 37, tried to comfort her.

A fellow diner said: "Madonna was proudly showing a photo of Mercy to Stella.

"But it was clearly too much and the moment overcame her. Stella told her to be strong and gave her a hug as Madonna cried."

Stella had invited Madonna to dinner in a bid to cheer her up but the pair left soon after the emotional outburst, cutting their meal short.

Madonna and her children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight, and David, three, flew from Malawi to Britain on Sunday (05.04.09), after a judge rejected the star's bid to adopt Mercy.

The singer was expecting to be granted custody immediately but Judge Esme Chombo rejected the case because Madonna has not lived in Malawi for 18 months or more.

A friend said: "The last week has been one of the hardest in her life. She's really relying on her friends to help her through."

But her sadness at the adoption refusal hasn't dampened Madonna's generosity - the star has donated $500,000 to victims of the Italian earthquake.

The '4 Minutes' singer reportedly requested the money be used in her father Silvio Ciccone's home region of Abruzzo.

More than 200 people have died and thousands more left homeless by the 6.3 magnitude quake which hit the European country on Monday (06.04.09).

Courtney Love

(BANG) -

Courtney Love claims Kurt Cobain's $750 million legacy has been stolen.

The 'Celebrity Skin' singer says the staggering $45 million cash and $705 million worth of other assets - which she was left when the Nirvana star committed suicide in 1994 - has gone missing after thieves set up bank accounts and made property deals in her name.

Courtney's lawyer Rhonda Holmes said: "I have never seen such greed and moral turpitude.

"We will be filing civil cases within the next 30 days. There are many, many millions missing. We've only been able to track down $30 million, but there is more. And then there is the real estate.

"There is now a web of homes which were bought, flipped and used to launder money - up to $500 million worth. Any of the property we can get back will be donated to people who have lost their homes in foreclosures."

According to the lawyer, Courtney - who has a 16-year-old daughter Frances Bean with the late rocker - only noticed the missing money "when there wasn't any left" and blames those entrusted with looking after Kurt's estate for "shamelessly looting it".

Holmes added: "Courtney noticed the money was gone when there wasn't any left. It's no secret she struggled with substance-abuse issues, but in the last year she's taken a more serious approach to sobriety and started noticing things were wrong. She hired private investigators, accountants and me.

"We are also working with local and federal authorities. When Mr. Cobain died in 1994, he left his enormously wealthy estate behind for the benefit of his mother, two sisters, a brother, his wife and young daughter. Many of those involved with the estate's coffers mismanaged, stole and outright looted it shamelessly."

Last March, Courtney claimed she was a victim of identity fraud, but police were said to be sceptical about her allegations.

In an online rant in May, she alleged her attorney and accountant had been using her name to sign fake cheques and appealed for the help of a lawyer.

Charlie Sheen

(BANG) -

Charlie Sheen's son Max has been released from hospital.

The 'Two and a Half Men' star and wife Brooke Mueller - who welcomed twin boys, Max and Bob, into the world prematurely on March 14 - are delighted Max, who had to remain under medical supervision because he was underweight, has been allowed home.

Charlie's spokesperson Stan Rosenfield said: "Premature babies are often underweight. Max made weight and went home.

"It's frustrating to be a parent and not have your family home with you. This is the last week of 'Two and a Half Men' - which is going on hiatus - so Charlie and Brooke will be able to spend some quality time with their kids."

It had been reported that Max was suffering from a heart condition, but the actor was quick to quash the reports.

He joked: "The weight issue is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term. I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food - I just didn't realise they that started so young!"

The twins are Charlie's first children with Brooke - who he married in May. He also has daughters Sam, five, and Lola, three, with ex-wife Denise Richards and 24-year-old daughter Cassandra from another marriage.
