Keira Knightley

(BANG) -

Keira Knightley had to get permission from her mother to buy her most expensive item of clothing.

The millionaire actress owns a sheepskin coat from fashion house Burberry, which cost £2,795, but she could only go through with the purchase after being given the go-ahead by her mum Sharman MacDonald - who told her she had to wear the garment every day.

She told Britain's Elle magazine: "My mum was like, 'You cannot spend that amount of money on a coat,' and I was like, 'No, you're right I can't, I can't'. And then literally it was months and months of thinking about it and thinking, 'I'm not going to do it, I'm not going to do it.'

"But then she said, 'Right, if you're going to buy it, you have to wear it all the time.'

"I wore it every day last year and I'm going to wear it every day this year".

Keira - who got her first big break on the big screen in 2001 movie 'The Hole' when she was just 16 - has long been careful with her finances, and in 2009 she revealed the global recession had made her stop buying expensive designer shoes and start renting them instead.

Keira, now 25, explained: "I think when I was very young and I suddenly started earning a bit of money and I could actually afford to buy shoes, I got very excited and bought a lot. I mean a lot!

"I haven't bought any in quite a while. Now I just rent them for the day. They give them to me for the day and I give them back in the evening, which is good."

Naomi Campbell on the cover of British GQ magazine

(BANG) -

Naomi Campbell says "drink and drugs are an allergy" for her.

The supermodel has admitted she experimented with cocaine when she was in her 20s and had made it in the fashion industry, and has admitted the illegal drug had a negative impact on her life.

Discussing her problems with substance abuse, she said in an interview with the UK edition of GQ magazine: "It rips you world apart. I never thought I was an alcoholic but it goes hand in hand with the drugs. Emotionally I was just gone. I was emotionally unattached to myself. You just want to numb your pain. And I've got tons of stuff. Same as everybody else. I didn't like the way I was. Drink and drugs are an allergy for me, and they don't make me a better person."

Naomi - whose mother Valerie raised her as a single parent from the age of 18 after her father walked out on them both when the catwalk legend was just two months old - took cocaine when she was out partying and didn't initially realise the damage it could cause.

She explained: "I was a party girl. I started quite late, 24. I was having fun. It wasn't that I couldn't get out of bed in the morning without it. It wasn't a coping mechanism. It was a party thing and I didn't realise how powerful it was, in a very wrong way. The fun comes with consequences, you are killing yourself...I was an active addict. But I could still function."

The 40-year-old model was proud of herself when she stopped using cocaine and insists there is no shame in seeking help.

She said: "Recovery is a positive thing. There's nothing to be ashamed of. When you know you need help, and seek help, you need that time to deal with it. Get used to that new discipline. Tell when you are ready to tell. There's no shame. There are people who get out of that prison, like Eric Clapton. I wanted to know what it was - that peace, that serenity. A lot of my friends didn't want to hang out with me when I came back. That hurt."

The March issue of GQ is available on newsstands in the UK from Thursday 3 February.

Adele

(BANG) -

Adele's fans take photos of her dog's poo to sell on the internet.

The 22-year-old musician has caught "eBay weirdos" following her around when she's walking her pooch Louis Armstrong in a bid to get their hands on some unusual memorabilia so they can make money from online.

She said: "The other day I was up north (Northern England) and there were these - well, I don't think they were fans actually, they were like eBayers.

"I'd be at the venue, they'd be there. I'd leave the venue and they'd be there. Then they started taking pictures of my dog doing a s**t and stuff like that. It was really weird."

The 'Rolling in the Deep' singer was also followed into an elevator by an apparent collector and she admits the experience made her very nervous.

She added to The Sun newspaper: "I was on my own taking Louis out for a walk. One of them just got in the lift with me and I got really panicky. Luckily, there was a cleaner on the floor I was on. That scares the life out of me."

Adele's experiences with strange admirers and obsessive fans has made her realise how difficult life must be for megastars like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

She said: "I was just thinking, imagine being someone like Cheryl Cole or Katy Perry or Lady Gaga, where you've got to be conniving to have a normal day. I don't think I'd be able to carry on doing music if it got to that point. I don't think it ever will - I don't think I'm the kind of artist where that will happen."

The Beckham family

(BANG) -

David and Victoria Beckham's youngest son wants to be ballet dancer.

The couple's five-year-old child Cruz became inspired when he attended a class with his cousin and, though he is the only boy in the group, has now started taking regular lessons and is said to be making "brilliant" progress.

A source said: "Cruz absolutely loves ballet classes - and he's a complete natural. He went along to a class with Victoria's sister Louise's daughter, and was not bothered in the slightest upon discovering he was the only boy in the room.

"He was brilliant, Cruz has been to every class religiously since, practising his plies around the kitchen table."

Soccer player David and fashion designer Victoria - who also have older sons Brooklyn, 11, and Romeo, eight, and are currently expecting their fourth child together - are said to be delighted he has found something to be passionate about, and are supporting him all the way.

The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "David and Victoria are really supportive and think it's fantastic. They've both been to see him in action, watching him dance around in his little 'Power Rangers'top and shorts."

It is not the first time Cruz has shown a passion for dance - during the last Spice Girls reunion tour, he joined his mother and her bandmates Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell on stage and showed off his breakdancing skills.

Kelly Osbourne

(BANG) -

Kelly Osbourne plans to spend all her free time in her closet.

The 26-year-old star is finally ready to move into her new Los Angeles home after spending two months filming 'So Undercover' with Miley Cyrus in New Orleans and can't wait to have her friends stay over.

She wrote in her column for Closer magazine: "I'm getting to move house at last! As I told you a while back, I'm moving to a new neighbourhood and the new place feels so much more secure. It's going to be a headache to unpack everything from New Orleans where I was filming only to repack for the new apartment, but I'm excited.

"I'm especially looking forward to having a spare room for friends to stay over and for my assistant David to work from, but the best thing will be my walk-in closet. I'll probably spend most of my time in there!"

Kelly - who already own a pet Pomeranian pooch named Sid - recently revealed she will be sharing her home with a new canine pal after her younger brother Jack, 24, bought her a guard dog because he was worried about her living alone.

She said: "My mum and Jack get nervous because I live alone. So Jack has got me a dog that he'll train for six months to be my little protector. I've already got Sid - who thinks he's much bigger than he is - but let's face it, he won't do much other than bark at an intruder!

"The new dog, Blue, is a beautiful blue Doberman - but don't worry, she's not being trained as a killer! We just want her to be protective."
