Simon Cowell

(BANG) -

Simon Cowell wants Cheryl Cole to stay single.

The music mogul has reportedly ordered the 27-year-old singer - who is a judge on his UK TV show 'The X Factor' - to curb her rumoured romance with dancer Derek Hough in order to concentrate on getting back to full health after recently been stricken with potentially-fatal malaria.

A source told Reveal magazine: "Simon has had serious words with Cheryl and gave her a list of things she needs to sort out.

"He's demanded that she puts her love life on hold - he feels Derek is a distraction that she simply doesn't need. Derek is always hanging around on set with her and Cheryl is constantly trying to keep him happy."

The 50-year-old star is also said to be planning to find a lifestyle coach to help the 'Fight for This Love' singer - who split from soccer star husband Ashley Cole in February following allegations he had been unfaithful - juggle her hectic schedule.

The source added: "Simon wants Cheryl to accept more help, rather than try and battle on by herself.

"He told her everyone in the US has a lifestyle guru and that he will get someone to work with her.

"Cheryl hates the idea because she is a very private person, but Simon is insisting on it. He believes having someone with her is the only way to guarantee she will eat, sleep and talk about her problems."

Katie Price

(BANG) -

Katie Price thinks her children are "lucky" she is no longer with Peter Andre.

The former glamour model - who has two kids, Junior, five, and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii, with her ex-husband and a son, Harvey, eight, with retired soccer player Dwight Yorke - thinks the children benefit from having divorced parents because of all the extra presents they will get at Christmas and birthdays.

She said: "I think it's probably good I split with Pete when they were so young. I was about their age when my parents got divorced and I can't even remember it, so hopefully they won't either.

"They're lucky really, all kids with divorced parents are lucky because they get extra Christmas presents and trips out and two sets of birthday presents."

Katie - who is now married to cage-fighter Alex Reid - also hit back at claims she isn't as popular since she split from Pete, 37, in May 2009.

In a TV interview, the 32-year-old star explained: "I think it's absolute nonsense that I'm not as popular as I used to be. People are intrigued by me. My life is like a film and I get portrayed as the baddie all the time."

Dawn French and Lenny Henry

(BANG) -

Dawn French has become "the best of friends" with husband Lenny Henry since the couple separated.

The pair - who have an adopted daughter Billie, 18, together - announced their separation after 25 years of marriage in April, and Dawn admits she is "amazed" at how close they have become since.

She told the Radio Times magazine: "Remarkably, we seem to have shifted with relative ease from a 25-year marriage to a lasting friendship.

"I am amazed by us - there is no war, we have turned out to be the best of friends."

The couple made the decision to end their union in October but waited six months to announce the "amicable" split.

At the time their representative Neil Reading said: "Lenny Henry and Dawn French are sad to announce they have decided to separate after 25 years of marriage. They made the decision last October and since then have been living together in constant, open and honest discussion.

"The separation is entirely amicable and they fully intend to maintain their close friendship. Their priority is to commit to the future joint parenting of their daughter."

The couple met on the alternative comedy circuit and married in 1984.

Despite appearing to have one of the happiest marriages in showbiz, in 1999 it was revealed Lenny had cheated on 'The Vicar of Dibley' star Dawn with a 26-year-old blonde.

He later put his behaviour down to what he called a "classic mid-life crisis".

Kate Moss

(BANG) -

Kate Moss has hired a professional exorcist to cleanse her house.

The supermodel - who lives in a plush area of north London with her rocker lover Jamie Hince and her seven-year-old daughter Lila Grace - has reportedly hired a shaman to rid her home of "evil energy" following a sequence of bad luck at the property in recent months.

A source revealed to The Sun newspaper: "Jamie is a believer in the supernatural and has persuaded her there is a bad energy in the house which needs to be removed by a shaman priest.

"She has found one who will perform a ceremony to cleanse the place."

In May, Kate had an original Banksy painting - believed to be worth £80,000 - stolen by burglars while The Kills frontman Jamie and her mother Linda were sleeping.

To make matters worse, just days later £100,000 worth of damage was caused when the property was flooded with sewage.

A source revealed at the time: "Trouble started following heavy rains at the beginning of May and culminated in her basement flooding and the pump system clogging up. The house is a complete disaster zone, with mud, gunge and sewage everywhere."

Alex Reid

(BANG) -

Alex Reid is a "henpecked" husband.

The cage-fighter - who recently renewed his wedding vows with former glamour model Katie Price - insists he doesn't care if people think his wife tells him what to do all the time because he "allows" her to give him orders.

He said: "People have been saying I come across as henpecked in our show 'Katie & Alex: For Better, For Worse', and that is fine -I guess I am! But the important thing is, it's only when I want to be - I allow Katie to do it!

"I know we joked on the show that I was under her thumb, but it doesn't bother me if people think that. I'd say we both wear the trousers."

Although the 34-year-old star - who is stepfather to Katie's three children, Harvey, eight, Junior, five and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii - admits he is quite easygoing, he insists he is not afraid to stand up for himself.

He wrote in his column for Britain's Star magazine: "I will give way to her if it makes her happy but if it is something that really matters to me, I will put my foot down. I think most men are like that".
