N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos has claimed that she used to carry a baseball bat for her personal protection.??
The 23-year-old said she felt forced to carry the weapon after being targeted by bullies at school - but she never actually had to use it.
According to the Radio Times, she said: "I had to walk down the road with a baseball bat in my pocket.
"I didn't end up having to use the bat, but I did have to punch people back."
The X Factor judge, who grew up in Camden, London, says she sometimes feels like a showbiz fraud because of her upbringing.
She added: "I'll think, 'I don't belong here.' I get those moments now and again. I can be very feisty, but that's a defence mechanism for me. I'm defensive because too many years of my life I was treated like s***."
Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to become Olympic Ambassadors for Team GB.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 29, have chosen to become representatives for the Olympic GB team and the Paralympics GB.
Prince Harry, 27, will also join the royal couple in his support of the Olympic Games and the British team.
All three of the royals will encourage the British public to support their Olympic and Paralympic athletes, Clarence House have announced.
William said: "Catherine, Harry and I are honoured to be Ambassadors for Team GB and Paralympics GB."
He added: "The London 2012 Games will inspire so many people – particularly the young – to be the best they can be."
One Direction star Zayn Malik has reportedly been secretly dating Little Mix's Perrie Edwards.
Former X Factor star Zayn has been getting cosy with current hopeful Perrie after meeting her backstage at the talent competition studios.
The boyband star, who previously dated Rebecca Ferguson after last year's show, is said to have started seeing Edwards after sharing a steamy encounter following One Direction's performance on The X Factor last month.
The pair were also seen cuddling up when One Direction and Little Mix both filmed the video to the programme's charity single last weekend.
A source told British newspaper The Sun: "Zayn has got in there first but Niall is obsessed with her too. They met her on the video shoot and have both been trying to win her over."
The source added: "They plan to come out as a couple after The X Factor has finished."
Singer Katy Perry has dismissed the latest rumours of a split from her husband Russell Brand, insisting reports that suggested she has filed for divorce are not true.
The 27-year-old and the British comedian, 36, have been hit by speculation their marriage is in trouble ever since they headed down the aisle in India last October.
It was rumoured yesterday that Katy had filed divorce papers in Los Angeles, but The One That Got Away hitmaker has taken to her Twitter page to deny the story.
Perry even jokingly compared herself to All My Children character Erica Kane, who has been married and divorced numerous times in the US TV show.
She wrote: "First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced. What am I All My Children?! Erica Kane... pshhh. If I had a dollar for every time."
Kate Winslet believes that less is more when it comes to glamour.
The Titanic star said that when it comes to her red carpet moments, she prefers to keep her style and make-up chic and simple.
"Glamour to me is about remaining graceful and understated," she told InStyle magazine.
"For example, with very bold lip colours, you can't overdo the rest of your face. With a bright-red party lipstick, just go with lots of mascara and keep everything else clean. I love Lancome's L'Absolu Rouge lipstick as it lasts. Unless you spend the whole night snogging, you won't need to reapply."
And her key to creating a flawless finish is mixing foundations.
"I rarely rely on one foundation - mixing two colours can make a big difference," she said. "I never use too much powder, only in the right areas (such as the T-zone). I have peachy fuzz on my cheeks, so I have to be careful with powder. I add a little of Lancome's Golden Hat Blush Palette on my cheeks - it just brightens up everything."
