Prince Harry has reportedly dumped Florence Brudenell-Bruce because he doesn’t want to be ‘tied down’.
The 26-year-old royal first hooked up with the underwear model, known to her friends as Flee, in June but has apparently decided that a girlfriend is the last thing that he needs as he prepares to become an Apache helicopter pilot for the Army.
An insider told The Mirror, “Harry has a lot on his mind at the moment. He is concentrating on his Apache helicopter training. After that, he’s expecting to return to Afghanistan.
“Harry enjoyed spending time with friends over the summer, but he doesn’t want to be tied down in a relationship when training, so he called time on Flee.”
Clarence House said last night, “We do not comment on Prince Harry’s personal life.”

Gary Barlow has revealed that the X Factor auditions remind him of his early days with Take That.
The 40-year-old singer and X Factor judge was just a teenager when the man-band was first formed in the 90s. He said that seeing youngsters at the start of what could be their careers takes him right back.
"The very young auditionees definitely take me back to when I started out in the music industry. They bound on to the stage, so full of energy, and it really reminds me of my teenage years," he told The Sun.
"They come on and they are so excited. It's great when you get good ones because you know you could help them on to the next stage of their career. It's a good feeling."
And he believes that the talent show's bosses made the right choice in choosing him, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos to join Louis Walsh on the panel.
"Louis has already proved himself as the longest-standing judge so I'm aware that all eyes will be on the new judges to see what we will bring to the table.
"I just want to be here to help people and I want them to be able to look up to me and be able to say to me, 'Tell me, do I do this or this?'.
"I suppose in terms of who they could have picked to be the new judges alongside Louis, there's no one more valid than me, Kelly and Tulisa - because we're out there doing it right now.
"We're selling tickets, we're selling records. We're out there doing what these guys want to be doing."
Derek Hough is reportedly trying to land his ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole a role in the Dirty Dancing remake.
He is apparently after the lead part of Johnny Castle, made famous by Patrick Swayze, and is said to be trying to convince film execs to cast Cheryl as his co-star.
A source told The Sun, "Derek submitted a DVD of him dancing with Cheryl at her O2 show when she supported The Black Eyed Peas last year. He wanted producers to see their chemistry.
"He also put in a copy of Cheryl's video for her single Parachute, to show how good a dancer she is."
But Cheryl's advisers said that her cameo in next year's What To Expect When You're Expecting is the only film work that the star has planned.
TV bosses are reportedly looking for an actress to portray the late Amy Winehouse in a bio-series about her life.
The Back To Black singer was found dead in bed at her North London home last month, and according to The Sun, discussions have been held with her family and plans are already underway to bring her story to the small screen.
A source said, "The feeling is there wouldn't be an actress under 30 who wouldn't want to play her.
"The first job is to get financial backing from co-production companies in the States. Some are showing interest because it's a sure-fire money-spinner.
"They know anything Amy-related is going to be a huge success."
Singer Michael Bolton is hoping to work with Adele after being "blown away" by the British pop star.
The Rolling in the Deep hitmaker left quite an impression on Bolton after they both performed on US TV show Dancing With The Stars.
The 58 year-old told British newspaper the Daily Mirror: "I was blown away by Adele. The same with Lady Gaga. I knew she'd be a star."
Adele, 23, has enjoyed massive success with her album 21, breaking chart records in both the UK and the US.
