British rockers Coldplay, Michael Buble, Leona Lewis, JLS and One Direction are all set to perform at the UK X Factor final at London's Wembley Arena.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said: "We're all big X Factor fans so we're very excited to play live on the show."
Meanwhile, 2006 winner Leona previously revealed that she would perform.
One Direction and JLS, who feature on the X Factor charity single, will also take to the stage.
Judge Gary Barlow added: "This is the biggest final The X Factor has ever done. Being at Wembley Arena for the first time and in front of 10,000 people with Coldplay performing, I can't wait - it's going be an amazing night."
It has not yet known if any of the performers will duet with the X Factor finalists.
This year's live finals will take place on December 10 and 11.
British funnyman Russell Brand has broken his silence about rumours that he and Katy Perry are getting a divorce, insisting the internet is full of 'wicked little liars'.
Singer Katy, 27, has already denied the reports and now Russell has laughed them off in a taped interview with US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres, which airs in America on Friday.
Brand, 36, said: "What? She should've told me. Yeah, there are always rumours, aren't there?"
He added: "In the end you have to just not engage with internet technology, which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy.
"I've treated the whole internet now like it's a wicked little liar...I am really happily married."
The Arthur star continued: "Being famous is like a little bit of you is taken away and goes off and lives on its own and does what it wants. I wish it would do more interesting things."
Ellen then remarked: "So, it's not true?"
The actor responded: "Well, I don't now what he's doing - the other me. But I'm married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I'm still alive."
On again and off again couple Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger are back on again, according to reports.
According to The Sun newspaper the stars are back on after agreeing to give their relationship another go.
And they've planned a series of secret meetings over the next few weeks to rediscover that magic formula.
A source told The Sun, "It's a struggle to maintain a blossoming relationship during the F1 season.
"Lewis is so busy and in a different country every other week. When they can't see each other they use things like Skype, but that's no substitute for the real thing.
"With no F1 distractions, Lewis aims to spend some proper time with Nicole. He can't wait."
However, Scherzinger is still in Los Angeles judging on the first series of the American X Factor.
The final is just before Christmas so she won't get to spend any quality time Lewis until then.
The F1 star put on a brave face after the split in October and they briefly met in LA last month to have a heart-to-heart.
Lewis said then, "We still have very, very strong feelings for each other and I still love her very much.
"Who knows, maybe we will be together in the future?
"It was a really positive few days. I came away from LA feeling great and things are getting into perspective."
Singer George Michael was last night said to be 'recovering steadily' from the pneumonia that landed him in hospital.
According to a report in The Sun newspaper doctors treating the singer in Vienna said that, despite speculation, he is not suffering from any other health issues.
They added that the 48-year-old had been in intensive care because of the 'severity and extension' of the illness.
And, The Sun added, doctors have made it clear he will need a period of 'complete rest' to recover.
In a statement, Professors Gottfried Locker and Christoph Zielinski said, "The latest development in Mr Michael's case, which has evolved from a severe pneumococcal infection, necessitated intensive care due to its severity and extension.
"We are happy to announce that Mr Michael is improving steadily with an impressive regression of pneumonic symptoms and follows a steady rate of improvement as hoped.
"There are no other health issues with regards to the patient other than the underlying pneumonic disorder, and no further measures had to be taken.
"Mr Michael is receiving precisely the same treatment as any ordinary patient in Austria would receive at the hospital for this disease."
The Wham! star had to axe his Symphonica tour after being taken ill in the Austrian capital last week.
Elton John's husband David Furnish has had to leave Australia for emergency medical treatment in Los Angeles, according to reports.
Furnish was in Australia with Sir Elton while the singer is currently on tour.
According to a report in the Australia's Daily Telegraph the legendary performer considered cancelling his Australian tour and accompanying Furnish to LA but in the end decided to carry on after meeting with tour promoters.
A source told the Telegraph's Sydney Confidential column, "They have been having a great time since they arrived last week but David suddenly took ill and has flown back to Los Angeles for specialist treatment.
"David had various appointments and engagements set up during the tour but he's had to cancel them.
"Elton was obviously extremely distressed, and his first instinct was to leave the tour to be with his partner when he was ill.
"But he spoke to his old friend Michael Chugg who is promoting the tour, and in the end they decided the tour - the show - should go on."
It has not been revealed what illness Furnish is dealing with or if the couple's young son Zachary flew to LA with Furnish or stayed on tour with Elton.
The couple married in a civil ceremony in the UK in 200, and had brought their young son Zachary out to Australia for a tour which last week.
